Due to significant demand, appointments are very limited. As a result, we have had to make the difficult decision to temporarily alter our referral management processes:
Severe acne appointments remain available with all dermatologists.
Dr Alicia Thornton - Temporary closure for routine referrals. Currently only able to accept
urgent paediatric and adult referrals, and referrals for acne clinics. Dr Tom Barrett - Temporary closure for routine referrals. Currently only able to accept
urgent referrals, including skin cancers, and referrals for Mohs surgery.
Dr Barrett is transitioning to provide consultations exclusively at Frontier Dermatology. Starting August 26, 2025, Dr Barrett will commence regular Tuesday consultations. Tuesday appointment slots are currently reserved for patients who previously scheduled future appointments with Dr Barrett at Lotus Dermatology (now closed). Dr Edwina Lamrock - Estimated 18 month wait time for routine new appointments. Patients with routine referrals are welcome to call our administration team and will be offered the next available appointment. Dr Lamrock continues to accept urgent referrals and referrals for acne clinics.
We understand that limited availability poses considerable challenges and kindly ask for your consideration as we manage the ongoing demand for appointments.
