What to Expect at Your Child's Appointment

Your child's dermatologist will take a full history and examine the affected areas of skin. For younger children, we allow extra time and work at a pace your child is comfortable with.

Bring any previous investigation results and a list of current medications or creams your child is using. If a condition comes and goes (like a rash), photos taken at home can be helpful and sent to us prior to your scheduled appoinmtent.

Treatment plans are tailored to your child's age, condition and skin type. Your dermatologist will explain all options and involve you in decisions about your child's care.
